Topless Deck

By Pirate Captain Mike

Cruise 7: We had a lot of fun on this cruise. The Carnival Valor had a real party atmosphere and a topless deck. The people were more our age and it was easy to make friends. We really liked having a balcony room. We could open the door to let fresh air in. The service and the food weren't as good compaired to the other cruise we have been on. They took a long time to answer the phone and room service was slow. Overall I can see why Carnival calls it a "Fun Cruise".

Bahamas:
We only had a half day in the Bahamas. I would have liked to stay longer. We went on a Catamaran Snorkel. The catamaran wasn't as nice as we thought it was going to be. It was also crowded. We saw some good tropical fish in the Bahamas, but the current was very strong, and it was hard to swim back to the boat. On the way back we stopped at the Blue Lagoon. I'm going to have to watch that movie again.

St. Thomas: I want to move to St. Thomas and live on the beach setting up web pages for the local businesses. So if you know anyone that can hook me up, please let me know. In the morning we went to Morning Star Beach. We really like it because there are a lot of big iguanas crawling around. We were very disapointed when Cuzzin's Restaurant was closed. We ate next door at Friends. It was good. After lunch we did some shopping, I got a piece of my hair braided, and we went to Magens Bay. Magens Bay is also one of our favorite beaches. The water is nice and calm there. We also met some cool people from Arizona. In the late afternoon we went on a Skyride to Paradise Point. They had a pirate store at the top. I enjoyed sharing pirate stories with the shop keeper. We need to spend a week in St. Thomas.

St. Maarten: St. Maarten is awesome and a great place to stop. We just didn't have enough time to see it all. In the morning we went on the Golden Eagle Catamaran to Tintamar a private island for snorkeling. It was really nice. We got a great spot right up front on the nets. They served drinks the entire time. The island had beautiful sand. We stayed on the beach. We should have expored more of the island. The snorkeling wasn't very good. We had plenty of food to feed the fish but we really didn't see many. After lunch we went to Orient Beach. Orient Beach is so beautiful and is our #1 beach. As soon as we walked into the naked section of the beach the Massachusetts couple waved to us to get naked and get in the water. So we did. We all swam out to a raft. We had a lot of fun and if you've never been to a nude beach, go! The only problem was that it was most naked old man. The Arizona couple was also at Orient Beach and we heard they got pretty wild in a cab on the way home. We brought a few toys to play with in the water like a velco paddle ball and a raft. It's hard to play naked with big waves, but it was really fun. We spent too much time at the beach and didn't get a chance to eat at a French restaurant. We also had very little time shopping. I bought a few t-shirts and some cheap smokes.

Miami: My Mom picked us up at the airport and took us to Bayside in South Beach. We wanted to go to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch but they weren't open yet. I got two Henna Tatoos. Kimmy took a picture holding four Macaws. After lunch we walked on the beach. It was really nice and I got to spend some time with my Mom and her friend Linda. I liked South Beach and even saw some topless sunbathers. We had some Iced Tea at Johnny Rockets then it was time to get to the ship. Boarding the ship took a long time because of the long lines.

Dining: We had the late seating. I think we should have had the early seating. After dinner we had a hard time making the shows. The food wasn't great. It was good, but on the other cruises the food has been great. It just didn't taste great. They also don't give you all the silverware that the other cruises give you. The food was a disapointing and so was dessert. No sundaes like Holland America. The presentation of the food also wasn't as good. Everything was always mushed together.

Pool: The pool was fun. Plenty of hotties for scenery. The band was good but could have played more. We spent a lot of time at the pool but not too much in the water. The pools was small and we didn't really sit close to it. There were a lot of activities around the pool. The best part of this cruise was that it had a topless deck. We sat up there a lot.

Life on the Ship: We had a lot of days at sea on this cruise. We could have had more stops, but days at sea are really nice and relaxing. We went to the pool, ate lunch, walked around, and took it easy. Kimmy scooted all over the ship.

Our Room: The balacony room was great. It was a pretty good size and had a refridgerator. We saw a lot of flying fish and a dolphin. We decorated our door with some party decorations Kim bought at the Dollar Store. We often heard people's comments through the door. When we walked out we tried to look like we were partying inside.

Carnival Valor: The ship was nice. I really liked the topless deck and the waterslide. I would go on Carnival again, but I think Kim likes the other cruise lines better.

Mike & Kim Gone Wild:
I wanted to go wild on this cruise, have fun in the sun, jump off anything I can into the water, eat two appetizers and two soups every meal, and get naked at Orient Beach. And I did. I really liked getting the Henna Tatoos in Miami. I thought I looked pretty cool. On this cruise, I used a tripod that my brother got me. It worked great. We used it to take a lot of the movies. I also used it with the timer on my camera to take a lot of good pictures of us together.
