Mike getting on the bus ready to go Helmet Diving

We were packed in to a ferry to De Palm Island

It only took 10 minutes to get there

The first time we went Helmet Diving we were in Bermuda (Cruise 3)

We had to wait a half an hour to let the first group go

We saw lots of crabs

We got a spend some time on the beach and in the water

Aruba is 12 degrees North of the Equator

They said it might be cold 20 feet under water

The helmets are attached to air hoses

Helmet diving was so much fun!

Helmet diving was really easy

We had to hold on to handrails and walk on a metal path

There was a lot of cool stuff to see underwater

There were many instructors checking on us all the time

We bought pictures and a few videos on CD

Underwater pictures add 20 pounds

We saw beautiful blue/green Parrot Fish right from the dock

The lizard has similar colors to the Parrot Fish

De Palm Island provided a good lunch

We had spaghetti, beef stew, rice, and plantains

The snorkeling was fantastic

We want to try Snuba

The boat ride back wasn't as crowded

De Palm Island was a great stop
